The Feminine Wound
The Art of Having Your Own Back; A Guide to Setting Boundaries, Reclaiming Your Power, and Taking Up Space
Whether you realise it or not, as a woman who was born and raised in a patriarchal society, you have been influenced by and conditioned to believe certain things about your worth, value, power and rights.
Very often, these beliefs center around women not being:
Innovative and creative
Emotionally resilient, and
Worthy of love.
Just to name a few.
These beliefs, which are a result of feminine wounding, can show up in our daily lives as:
Feeling like there is something wrong with you and not feeling good enough
Tolerating toxic behavior from others
Playing small in order to be accepted and loved
Taking on the role as the ‘good’ girl/woman/sister/partner/etc.
Comparing yourself to, and competing with, other women
Feeling guilty for wanting a better or different life
Experiencing things like eating disorders, depression and addictions.
Feminine wounding limits your ability to take up space, be your true self and stand in your worthiness. It prevents you from living the life you desire and deserve.
The Feminine Wound: The Art of Having Your Own Back will show you how feminine wound shows up in your life, shine a light on what you’ve been wrongly taught, teach you how to reprogram your beliefs, and empower you to live the life you desire and deserve. The course is delivered straight to your inbox as weekly videos and worksheets, and consists of 6 self paced modules:
Module 1: What is the Feminine Wound?
Module 2: How the Feminine Wound Holds Us Back
Module 3: Healing the Mother Wound
Module 4: Reclaiming All of You

Her Journey Home
This 8 week self-study course will support you on your journey back home to your truth, your body, your wisdom and your heart’s deepest desires.
I'm not talking about the version of you:
That your parents wanted you to be
That you thought you had to become in order to meet the needs and expectations of others
That doesn't believe your life can be different
That believes you needs to be different than who you truly are to fit in, feel safe and to be loved.
I'm talking about the real, raw, vibrantly alive and honest you. The one who has a soul deep, inner-knowing that there's more to life than playing small, pleasing others, acting out a script you didn’t choose and hiding out.
Many of us had to say goodbye to our true selves before we were old enough to even complete a full sentence. We were told who to be, what to believe and how to act, leading us to become products of our upbringing and social conditioning.
The journey back home to your true and authentic self is one you must make in order to discover yourself, connect with your truth and feel the wholeness you yearn for. It will remind you of who you are - before the world told you who you needed to be in order to fit in and be worthy. This course will help you navigate that journey.
Here’s what we’ll cover each week of our time together:
Week 1: Coming Home to Your Story (acceptance + responsibility)
Week 2: Coming Home to Your Body ( self-care, self-love, embodiment)
Week 3: Coming Home to Your Emotions (emotional intimacy)
Week 4: Coming Home to Your Inner Child (healing the mother wound)
Week 5: Coming Home to Your Worthiness (boundaries, baby)
Week 6: Coming Home to Your Truth (reclaiming your voice, values, and worth)
Week 7: Coming Home to Your Confidence (taking up space, letting go of smallness)
Week 8: Coming Home to Your Joy (pleasure, play, and creativity)
8 weekly workbooks filled with reading materials and exercises
Weekly audio and video lessons
Weekly discussion questions and group assignments in our private Slack Sanctuary group
This course is for you if you’re ready to:
Feel and embody a sense of safety and trust within yourself
Enhance your self esteem
Develop a deeper intimacy and connection with yourself
Understand how you relate to people, and identify what past emotional debris gets in the way of you connecting deeply with others
Learn the tools to become an emotionally resilient badass
Understand when you are putting other people’s needs before yours, and learn how to change this pattern
Upgrade your patterns of being a people pleaser, mother instead of a partner, perfectionist, high achiever and/or a caretaker
Learn tools to grow through your rock bottoms and embrace life’s transitions
Share and honor your voice with kind and clear communication strategies
Develop emotional and relational boundaries and get comfortable with saying ‘no’
Re-parent yourself and make peace with your inner-critic and inner-child
Take a closer look at the stories you tell yourself and evaluate what’s yours and what’s borrowed.
Healing the Mother Wound
When I started to unpack the mother wound, the patriarchal systems we live in, and the power dynamics that still existed within the lens of my conditioned mind, I was amazed at just how blind I was to it.
So what exactly is the mother wound and how is it affecting your ability to take up space, reclaim your power and stand in your worthiness?
Bethany Webster states, “The Mother Wound is the pain of being a woman passed down through the generations of women in patriarchal cultures. And it includes the dysfunctional mechanisms that are used to process that pain.”
The mother wound can manifest as:
Not being your full self because you don’t want to threaten others
having a high tolerance for poor treatment from others
feeling competitive with other women
being overly rigid and dominating
conditions such as eating disorders, depression and addictions
If we avoid acknowledging the full impact of our mother's pain on our lives, we still remain to some degree, children.
Coming into full empowerment requires looking at our relationship with our mothers and having the courage to separate out our own individual beliefs, values, thoughts from hers. It requires feeling the grief of having to witness the pain our mothers endured and processing our own legitimate pain that we endured as a result. This is so challenging, but it is the beginning of real freedom.
